NotesFrom 1949, another Buck Ryan story. This one never had a title, so we've given it the name, Fake Stamps and Crocodiles. Not quite up to the standard of Don Freeman, perhaps, but it does what it says on the tin.

I enjoyed reading this. It's clear that Monk and Freeman put a lot of research into their work. This stands out in contrast to a lot of adventure comics and strips which tend to be rather generic. The emphasis in most strips is in the fight ( physical or otherwise) between the Heroes and the Bad Guys. There is rarely a true sense of place or environment. But you read these and you get a real sense of real people in a real environment. And I'm sure all the stamp details are accurate too. Oh, and Zola is a terrific independent character, and also a team player. . Terrific project Paw and Wiseman! The effort you put into these is really appreciated. More please. And I like the new format of Fun Fair too.
