Rex Rigby, Ace Diamond and Duke Dale soar into action on Mars in The Scourge of the Carbon Belt. Watch as they battle Martian renegades across thirty pages of mythic mayhem. There’s an opportunity to learn some Martian (It looks like the synthetic language Volapuk – but it isn’t – however, there is an internal consistency to the way the words have been pilfered from a number of languages that enable us to expand the synthetic language using this original source – we could call the new language CBMarsSprak) The second story, War on Sorian, presents another space opera – this time the contrast between a planet ruled by a good brother (dressed in white – very thoughtful) and a bad brother (dressed in black). Some decent full panel pieces! Here lie riches indeed for those who enjoy epic space battles (or as we say in CBMarsSprak – Glek dek delken serten vur dems dat makniet epok raum slagveshs)
