I knew nothing of this magazine before choosing this from Random 12. An odd mix of stories ranging from crime through to Lovecraftian horror - something for all in the family, I guess. The Kath King script was competent. What surprised me most about it was the hint of manga - a lot of the text descriptions could have been left out - and then you are left with some very interesting atmospheric panels which are enough to tell the story in themselves. The advert for Pelmanism also caught my eye - a system clearly anchored in the Edwardian notion of self-reliance and personal development - what glorious fun! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelmanism_(system)

Thanks for reminding me about this magazine. The one author I recognise here is Wal Watkins. Who was a writer of some renown but mostly forgotten now. Here are three of his books. https://www.abebooks.com/first-edition/WAIT-ALREADY-GONE-Wal-Watkins-Gold/595012529/bd
