Bob Larkin wants to call it off and return to Earth. They spot an uncharted asteroid and decide to check it out. The object turns out to be a planet with an Earth-like atmosphere. The ship crash lands. Bob dies, leaving Ken Baker stranded on the desert planet. Ken finds a lot of gold and buries Bob's body. Wandering the planet, he discovers an abandon city. He eats the mush pouring from a pipe in the city, eventually transforming into a lizard-creature. |

The aliens are lead by one named Roj, who plans to enslave the Earth and land their space-city for settlement. The aliens require cold that will kill all human life on Earth. Rex rigged up a powerful lamp to attack the light-allergic aliens, blowing up their planetoid before they can use their Black Ray again to destroy the Earth's inhabitants. |
