Mark starts mysteriously vanishing at night and Gilda follows him into town, spotting him with Lucky and several women. Gilda goes back to Fenucci’s club. Lucky is there and Mark comes in. Gilda blurts out that Mark’s her husband and the crooks discover he’s really an FBI agent. Gilda takes a bullet intended for Mark. He captures the gangsters and Gilda will recover.
