A touch of Tex Avery with a wild psychedelic cover! Nice.

I suppose some may be inclined to say Ellis Chambers did the cover art, including myself, but I hesitate to since I’ve never see art like that with his signature before. The cover, with the way the bulging eyed faces are done in particular, might actually be the work of Lou Ferstadt, who’s likely better known for his work on DC’s Flash and Ace’s Magno than funny animal art. His signed art for the Fatsy McPig story in Punch and Judy Comics #2 makes me wonder though, including the way the pigs are drawn in that story compared to the pig drawn in the Karrots story here.
